Besides the “I want my mommy” and “Where is my mommy?”…. Here are some surprise comments and gestures of kids aged 2+ on how they feel about preschool :-

1. “Why is my mom still not here yet?” When I looked at the clock, gosh, this kid still has 1+ hour to kill. Parents, please always remember to be on time to fetch them home. You should look at their faces when they see others moms/dads coming to get their friends home.

2. Annoyed and in tears, a 2+ kid came to me while I was with my son in his trial session, “She just can’t stop talking. She just can’t stop talking”, he said. I asked, “Who? Who can’t stop talking?” He answered, “I don’t want to listen anymore.” Then he pointed at the teacher. LoL… Well, I tried not to laugh out loud and offend the teacher. Gosh… quite entertaining actually.

3. Some would walk to the gate in diaper with their little steps, waving goodbye to their mommy :)

Whereas for their gestures… here goes:-

4. There is a 2+ year old boy who would not stop showing much admiration and also delicate care to a little blond in the class. He would touch her cheeks and hug her. Perhaps this little boy finds the 1+ blond quite a doll. Guess, attraction begins as early as 2+.

5. Another scene, a 2+ boy was slouching all the way when they were all sitting in a group for their story-telling time. In less than a sec, he started leaning towards a cute little 1+.  Being very patient, the little 1+ kept pushing the octopus away. I had a good laugh at a corner on how kids behave in preschools when they’re away from their parents :)

6. While everybody was singing Incy Wincy Spider, you can hear someone singing Happy Birthday. Lol… Sorry, I really couldn’t stop laughing there. Later, I was told that the day before, it was one of the students birthday.

What a scene. A class of brilliant and confident little students with energetic teachers. It’s a great class. All, much attributed to an excellent devoted teacher, MS SRI, a smiling face indian teacher from Penang, who understands and observes all her children very well. *If only I know her full name*
